50th anniversary of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin program.
The residential program for international artists of all countries and all ages, founded by the Ford Foundation in 1963 was taken over by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in 1964. The program is one of the most internationally renowned scholarship programs and is, at the same time, a living studio for the arts. The book is chronologically presenting the DAAD scholars and their work during the years 1988–2013. The works from various kinds of art directions are presented together with essays from Katharina Narbutovič, Boris Buden, Helga de la Motte -Haber, Björn Gottstein, Doreen Mende, Raimar Stange, Christa Brüstle, Bert Rebhandl and Susanne Stemmler on over 400 pages with perfect binding.
